The deeper I get into photography, the more I find that the subject that allows me to discover the most about myself is life on the street.
Why do I think any one moment is more significant than another? It’s a question that I continue to ask myself. It doesn’t seem to have an easy answer, but in attempting to, I’m forced to reflect on my beliefs, values, and relationship to society in a way that no other photographic practice has.
In a very deep and personal way, candid street photography has been an exercise in self-discovery.
